BK School Council has invited Friends of BK to help raise funds for the school! They are working with Value Village by gathering gently used clothing and household item donations. Items can be brought to the school and placed in the truck located in front of the school (big shout out to Just Junk for allowing us to use their truck!). Items will be accepted throughout the day until 6pm on March 11-13, and again the morning of March 14 until 12:00pm.
Friends of BK will receive:
-$0.20 per pound for soft items (clothing, shoes, linens, bedding, towels, purses, backpacks, fashion accessories, belts)
-$0.10 per pound for small houseware items (kitchen items, small electrical items, knick-knacks, toys and games)
-$0.02 per pound for books
-$0.05 per furniture item
-$0.05 per other large items
Items not accepted include mattresses, large furniture, chemicals, auto parts, tires, flammable material, strollers, car seats, or building material and appliances
Money raised by this FunDrive will go back to the school and children to be used for such things as activities, snacks, field trips, gardening committee, and more!
